REARING AND FEEDING

AviLote

Available to use

Keep track of your flocks,
even offline.

An installable web application for tracking poultry flocks, organizing feeding and managing stock. Records remain available without an internet connection.

My role
Process and business rule design, interface development, API, database and deployment.
  • Track flocks, weight records and losses.
  • Keep planned feeding separate from actual deliveries.
  • Track feed receipts, consumption and stock levels.
Open AviLote (opens in a new tab)

You can create an account when you open the app. Initial access and sign-in require an internet connection.

  • Angular
  • TypeScript
  • IndexedDB
  • Cloudflare Workers
  • D1 / SQLite
How it works offline

The Angular application stores records in IndexedDB and can be installed as a PWA. A TypeScript API deployed on Cloudflare Workers validates changes and stores them in D1, a SQLite-based database.

  • Local saving and synchronization: the interface distinguishes records saved on the device, synchronized records and unresolved conflicts.
  • Retries without duplicates: each operation keeps its identifier. Revisions help detect changes to the same record across devices.
  • Data ownership: the API checks who owns the information on every operation. The web app and API share business rules.
  • Exportable backups: local records and pending changes can be exported from the application.
